You will also need a Claude Pro subscription (around R400 per month). This is a separate subscription to Claude, the AI we will be setting up. I will help you create your account and subscribe during the session. We will switch off auto-renewal straight away, so the subscription will not silently renew next month if you decide it is not for you. The subscription is yours and stays with you.

How it works

  1. Book a session Pick a time that works for you. I will ask you to name a task you have been putting off. That is what we will tackle together.
  2. Pay via EFT Banking details come with your booking confirmation.
  3. I come to you Have your laptop charged and your Wi-Fi working. We do the account setup, software installation, and configuration together. I explain as I go and follow your lead on the choices, and do the setup aspects for you if you prefer.
  4. We do real work together That annoying task you mentioned? We complete it. Then I help you set up your AI by getting it to interview you about your work, your files, and your priorities, so it keeps being useful after I leave.

Questions

Do I need to know anything about AI?

No. That is the whole point. I set everything up and show you how it works with your own tasks. If you can use email and a web browser, you have enough.

What kind of tasks can AI help with?

Writing emails, summarising documents, organising files, drafting reports, creating spreadsheets, adding calendar entries, researching topics, planning projects, creating content. If it involves text, thinking, or organising information, AI can probably help. During the session we find a useful starting point you can rely on right away; you tweak and refine it from there as you get more comfortable.

Why do I need a separate subscription?

Claude AI is made by Anthropic, a company in the US. The Pro subscription gives you direct access to their AI. It is billed in US dollars at $20 per month, with 15% South African VAT added, which works out to around R400 a month at current exchange rates. My fee covers the setup session, the personalised configuration, and the hands-on training. We will switch off auto-renewal during the session so it cannot quietly bill you again next month if you decide it is not for you. The subscription is yours; it stays with you.

Can you do this remotely?

Yes. If you are outside Gauteng, or prefer a video call, I can do the full session over screen share. Get in touch and we will arrange it.

What if I have to reschedule?

Things come up. With less than 24 hours to go before your session, you can reschedule once at no charge rather than forfeit the fee. With more than 24 hours' notice, you can cancel for a full refund.

What if it is not for me?

Cancel more than 24 hours before your session for a full refund. If you show up and feel it was not worth your time, tell me. I would rather have an honest conversation than an unhappy client.

Can you set this up for my team or business?
